Our elementary school, Merriman
Park Elementary has been recognized nationally. For the past 3 years, it has been ranked Exemplary by the TEA and is a 4-time winner of the prestigious TBEC Honor Roll Award. It is located on the north edge of the neighborhood and it schools Kindergarten through 6th graders.

Meadow Junior High, has also been recognized nationally when the school received the United States Department of Education Blue Ribbon

| Ninth graders have their very own
Lake
Highlands Freshman Center, a recognized school. In 2011, the Lake Highlands Freshman Center was choosen by the NCEA as a Higher Performing school as well as a winner of the prestigious TBEC Honor Roll Award. This center was built to reduce the number of students feeding directly into our high school from junior high. This center is devoted totally to freshman. |
